Install on Chromebook
Open & install on Chromebook- Click the button above to open the app.
- Click ⬇ Install app at the bottom of the app, or the install icon at the right end of the address bar. (Or open Chrome's ⋮ menu → Cast, save, and share → Install page as app.)
- It's now in your launcher like any other app, and it updates itself.
- School Chromebook won't let you install apps? You can still use it right in Chrome. Just bookmark it.
Download for Windows
Download installer (.exe) Portable version (no install)- Open the downloaded file.
- If Windows says "Windows protected your PC", click More info → Run anyway.
Download for Mac
Download for Mac (.dmg) Download as .zip- Open the .dmg and drag Smart School Tool into Applications.
- The first time, macOS says it can't verify the app. Click Done, then go to Apple menu → System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway.
- No Open Anyway button? Open Terminal, paste this and press Enter:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/Smart School Tool.app" - Works on both Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3…) and Intel Macs.
